Kathy Barnard was the first female coach to coach a team in the Little League World Series.  Kathy along with Eden Briscoe coached the 1993 Lynn Valley team that advanced to the Little League show. 

A few years ago Kathy became a victim to cancer.  After a long battle Kathy is now cancer free.
