Welcome to Highlands Little League 2012 Season!
We are looking forward to some exciting changes to league for the upcoming season. These changes include:
- Realignment of our Majors and Minors age groups to better suit players of all playing levels
- A new website at highlandsbaseball.com
- A new online apparel store - The Highlands Clothing Co.
- A fully stocked concession every weekend at Delbrook Park
As you can see, our new website is not quite ready to launch so we have created this temporary splash page for registration purposes only. Our complete site should be live in the next week or so.

Registration fees for 2012 are:
These fees includes a Sport Council Field User Levy, a Little League District 5 Levy, and Highlands Little League Fees. Please take note of the following important information prior to registering your child. Financial assistance may be available for those who need it through Sport BC. Please click here for a complete description of age groups and playing levels . Late Fees: A late registration fee of $20 will be charged to players who register after the applicable deadline for their division - regular fee deadlines are January 31st for Farm, Minors, Majors and Juniors and February 28th for all other Divisions. Refunds: An administration fee of $20 will be deducted from refunds requested before the start of the season (beginning of April 2012). No refunds are issued once the season has begun. Boundary: Please ensure that you check that you are residing within the Highlands Little League boundary. South Side: marked by Highway No.1 between McKay Creek and St. Georges Avenue. North Side: marked by the mountains between McKay Creek and the extension of Princess Avenue. East Side: boundary is St. Georges Avenue north to 29th Street, East on 29th Street to Princess Avenue. Both sides of 29th Street between Regent and Princess are NOT in the HLL catchment area. North on Princess Avenue to East Braemar Road. Both sides of Princess are IN the HLL catchment area. North of Princess and Braemar to the mountains. West Side: Boundary is along McKay Creek to Sunnycrest Drive. North of Sunnycrest to Highlands Blvd. West across Highlands to south of Sunnycrest Drive and East to Mosquito Creek, then along McKay Creek north to the mountains. Glenview Drive and Trenton Place south of Sunnycrest are IN the HLL catchment area. Please take note of the following important information prior to registering your child. A map is available by request. If you have any questions, please contact the HLL Registrar. Player Evaluations: Players registering for Minors and Majors will be contacted by email in early February with dates and times for player evaluations. Team Formation: For T-ball teams, we will attempt to place friends together (usually school-based teams). For Farm teams, we will attempt to place a player with a friend, if asked, but there are no guarantees. Teams at the Minors and Majors (American Leaugue & level are selected on the basis of player evaluations and are not based on schools or friend requests. Volunteers: We require that you volunteer for one of the positions listed in the drop-down menu on the registration form. If you have any questions about what the particular volunteer position involves, please don't hesitate to contact John Jackson, HLL President. Also, if you have a particular talent or passion for something that would enhance the overall experience for our players, families and community that is not listed - please be sure to contact John Jackson, HLL President. Concession Volunteering : All families of players in T-Ball through Majors will be required to fulfill volunteer hours at our concession. The time allocations will be given to you by your team manager at the start of the season. Season: Regular season will run from the beginning of April to late June. All-Star Teams: Selection to the 9 year olds Select Team, the 9/10 year olds All-Star Team, the 11 year olds Select Team and Majors (11/12 year olds) All-star team will be conducted in late May and early June. The District Playoffs are usually held in late June/early July with the winner participating in the BC Provincial Championships at the end of July. The Canadian Championship is held shortly thereafter, with the winner going to Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Little League World Series. The 9 year old Select Team plays a 4 day tournament at the end of June/early July & the 11 year olds Select Team will participate in the Highlands/ Forest Hills hosted Annual Canada Day Weekend tournament and at least one other tournament following that weekend. Parents of players interested in trying out for these select teams are encouraged to consider their summer vacation plans in conjunction with the time commitment required. Parents of players that are selected to the 11 Year Olds team will be required to participate as a volunteer at the tournament. We will also require a Tournament Coordinator for this tournament.
