Highlands Little League Baseball in North Vancouver

For more than 65 years, Highlands has been home to youth baseball in North Vancouver. As an official chapter of Little League Baseball, the global standard in youth baseball development, we offer league play and post-season high-performance opportunities for players ages 4 to 16, along with Challenger Baseball and growing girls’ programming.

Our teams play at Delbrook, Chris Zuehlke Memorial, and Sowden parks. On and off the field, Highlands players build skills and confidence, make lasting friendships, and join a growing community of families who value everything sport brings.

Presidents Message For the 2027 Season

2026 was another big year for Highlands Little League. We continued to grow while staying focused on what makes this league special: good baseball, an amazing parent volunteer group, played in a community of families who show up for each other. Registration reached 486 players, up from just over 430 in 2025. That growth brought more T-Ball and A-Ball teams and a new AA-High division.

Player development remained at the heart of what we do. Together with our District 5 partner leagues, we launched D5 Elevation, a new program for our Intermediate and Junior (13/14-year-old) players, alongside our Spring Break Camps, in-season development, and Winter training. In the post-season, we hosted another successful Summer Series tournament for our 7s and 11s and added a new 9-10 Selects team.

Highlands continued to proudly host Challenger Baseball for the North Shore, giving players of all abilities a supportive and welcoming place to play. Girls’ baseball also kept growing, with our first all-female A-Ball team and our second all-female AA team. In 2027 we hope to expand girls’ opportunities further, both within Highlands and with our friends at D5 Lionesses and BC Girls Baseball.

Off the field, the Ballpark Bash at Delbrook was our biggest yet, and the Delbrook Doghouse had its second season as a gathering spot for families and visiting teams.

Looking ahead to 2027, we’ll continue our commitment to player development and work to secure more field time as we grow, always with our HLL community at the forefront. Registration for the 2027 season opens this month. With divisions filling up as we grow, we encourage families to register early. We’re also always looking for coaches, umpires, and volunteers.

Thank you to our players, families, coaches, volunteers, board members, sponsors, and community partners for another great season. See you at the field!
