The 9/10 All-Star team from Highlands has won the District 5 Championship sending them on to the Provincials. With one of the most dominant performances by a Highlands team in recent years, our boys went 6-0 and scored an impressive 105 runs, with only 12 against.

The boys now have just under two weeks to prepare to host the other District winners in the Little League BC Provincial Tournament from July 15th-23rd on our home turf at Chris Zuehlke Memorial Park.

With District 5 hosting the Provincials this year, there will be added pressure on the boys to perform well at home, but also on parents to volunteer for many of the additional hosting roles that take place throughout the tournament. We look forward to your generosity and participation.

We would like to thank all our players, families and fans for contributing to a very positive post-season so far and look forward to great things from our 9/10’s over the coming weeks.
