The Highlands Select 11s won the Cook Tournament held in Newton on the July Long Weekend.

In Round Robin action the team went 2 and 1 to capture second place of their pool.During play-offs the Highlands squad was first class beating North Delta in the semi-finals and in the FINALs took a 3 to 2 lead in the final inning against the host team Newton. Highlands ran up 7 unanswered runs in the 6th inning to win GOLD with a final score 10 to 2.

MVPs for the tournament were Finnegan Murphy, Zach Bernardi, Lucas Erdman, Nate Bernardi and Ben Gagnon

 

July 5th to 8th the team is in the Candy Cup being hosted by Mt Seymour.
