Highlands Little League hosts the North Shore Challenger Baseball Division for players of all ages with physical or cognitive disabilities - both youths and adults. Challenger baseball is offered at no cost to players. We welcome players from the entire North Shore to participate.

Baseball games are played in a fun, safe environment where no score is kept. Able-bodied “Buddies” are assigned to each participant and assist Challenger players throughout the game. Pushing wheelchairs around the base path, helping players to hold the bat and swing, or providing protection from a batted ball, are just a few ways Buddies offer a fun and inclusive experience for Challenger participants.

Games are held Saturday mornings from early April to mid June at Norgate Park. The catchment area for North Shore Challenger Baseball is the entire North Shore, and is not confined to the same boundaries as Highlands Little League's catchment.
